Frequently asked questions

What would you like to know?

What resources does CHW Academy offer churches, ministries and Christian organisations?

CHW Academy offers Bible-based, practical and creative relationship discipleship support for churches, ministries and Christian organisations. Our partnerships may include workshops, seminars, speaking engagements, teaching sessions and agreed use of selected resources from the Mission Mindset Relationship Toolkit.

The Toolkit brings together free five-day awareness courses, practical guides and worksheets, information sheets, checklists and self-assessments, real-life relationship Q&A resources, public teaching and Christian community support. Where appropriate, a selected five-day course theme can also form the basis of a facilitated workshop supported by relevant materials.

The content, delivery format and supporting resources can be tailored within an agreed scope to reflect the needs, audience and objectives of the organisation.

The Mission Mindset Relationship Toolkit is CHW Academy’s main relationship discipleship support system. It has been developed on the understanding that relationships and circumstances differ, so one format will not meet every need.

The Toolkit offers different ways to learn, reflect and take practical action through free five-day awareness courses, guides and worksheets, information sheets, real-life relationship Q&A resources, public teaching, Christian community support and information about relevant coaching or mentoring opportunities.

Every element is Christian-focused and intended to help people approach relationship challenges with practical wisdom grounded in God’s Word and original design. The five-day courses are an important part of the Toolkit, but they are not intended to be treated as standalone resources.

Yes. CHW Academy can provide workshops, seminars, speaking engagements and teaching sessions for churches, ministries and Christian organisations.

A session may address a particular relationship theme, introduce the Mission Mindset Relationship Toolkit or draw on an appropriate five-day awareness course and its supporting resources.

Each enquiry is considered individually. The intended audience, objectives, format, timing, location, safeguarding considerations and supporting materials are discussed before the scope is confirmed. Delivery may be in person or online where appropriate and subject to availability.

CHW Academy makes many resources freely available for individuals and families to access for their own personal or household use through the normal subscription and access process. Organisational use is different and requires prior discussion and written agreement.

Churches, ministries and organisations must not independently deliver, reproduce, copy, distribute, alter, rebrand, upload or incorporate CHW Academy courses or resources into their own programmes, platforms or materials without CHW Academy’s prior written permission.

Please contact us before planning organisational use. We will discuss your audience, purpose and proposed format, then identify an appropriate arrangement. A general subscription or an individual’s access does not constitute permission for organisational delivery or distribution.

Yes. SOAM — Sisters On A Mission — provides additional women-focused Christian community support within CHW Academy and the Mission Mindset Relationship Toolkit. It is not a separate ministry, programme or membership running alongside CHW Academy.

Where relevant, a partnership with a women’s ministry or group may draw on SOAM’s focus, appropriate Toolkit themes and resources that help women approach complex family, marital and other close relationships with biblical wisdom, practical action and healthy boundaries.

Any organisational session or use of materials would still need to be discussed, tailored and agreed through CHW Academy.

We welcome enquiries from churches, ministries, Christian charities, networks, women’s groups and other Christian organisations seeking Bible-based relationship discipleship support that is practical, creative, engaging and relevant to the people they serve.

CHW Academy reviews each enquiry for alignment with our Christian ethos, the suitability of the requested support and our capacity to deliver it well. Submitting an enquiry begins a conversation; it does not confirm a booking, partnership or permission to use resources.

No. CHW Academy provides Christian discipleship and Scripture-focused practical educational support. Our courses, resources, workshops and community activities are not counselling, psychotherapy, diagnosis, medical treatment, legal advice, safeguarding case management or emergency intervention.

Organisations and individuals remain responsible for following their own safeguarding procedures and seeking appropriate qualified, local or emergency support where a situation involves abuse, danger, a mental-health crisis, legal concerns or other serious needs. CHW Academy’s support can complement appropriate professional and pastoral care, but it does not replace it.

Please complete the Contact Us form and tell us about your church, ministry or organisation; the people you hope to support; the relationship need or theme you wish to address; your preferred format; proposed dates and location or online arrangement; and the approximate number of participants.

CHW Academy will review the enquiry and, where there appears to be a suitable fit, contact you to discuss the objectives, scope, delivery options, resources, permissions and next steps. Any engagement is confirmed only when the agreed arrangements have been recorded in writing.
